Founded in 1755 under the name of “Village of Luján”. It is located about 70 km from the center of the province, on the northwest side of Buenos Aires and is characterized for being one of the most important cities in the interior of the province, as well as one of the most interesting to visit.

If you go by public transport, you can do it by Train, with the Sarmiento Train line, leaving from Once, with a change in Moreno Station to move to another formation and continue from Moreno to Lujan in the Diesel formation. It sounds complicated, but it is very simple, you simply have to change formation at the Moreno station. By bus, you can use Line 57, which has 2 branches: Once-Luján, starting from Miserere Square (Once) and Palermo-Luján, starting from Italy Square (Palermo). Basilica of Our Lady of Lujan
Icon of this area and is where the image of Our Lady of Lujan, patron saint of Argentina and the city, is located.
