To discover this beautiful neighborhood, we leave you here everything you can do…
Recoleta Walking Tour
At the beginning of the day, we invite you to take the Free Tour that we offer through Recoleta.
We honestly don’t recommend it just because it’s our product, but because it’s an excellent introduction to the history and culture of the city, and it’s a good kick for time and location. You can check the opinions of our visitors to verify it.
Having Lunch in Recoleta
The tour ends at approximately 2 pm at Plaza Alvear, the Recoleta Cemetery Square. If it is Saturday, Sunday or holiday you can enjoy the artisan fair.
Around the cemetery there are multiple bars and restaurants for lunch. There is even also the Recoleta Mall, where they can exchange money, go to the bathroom and even have lunch in their food court.
Visit the Recoleta Cemetery
The biggest attraction in Buenos Aires is the Recoleta Cemetery. It is a relic, considered an open-air museum. Admission is free for residents. Otherwise, it is paid at the door before entering.
If you want to know deeply the stories of the cemetery, you can take our Cemetery Tour.
Here you can learn some curiosities about the Cemetery!
National Fine Arts Museum
It is the most important museum in Buenos Aires and it is located 1 block from the Recoleta Cemetery.
It contains the most important art collection in South America. Free entry. Closed on Mondays. Here you will find more detailed information.
We leave you its website for more information.
Walk through the Recoleta Parks
The Museum is located in a park. From there, you can start a beautiful walk enjoying the vegetation and architecture of Buenos Aires. Behind the museum, you can admire the Faculty of Law of Buenos Aires, the Floralis Genérica and, also, you can choose to visit other museums.
In this note you can see the route and the museums along the way.
You can finish the tour wherever you like and you can find multiple means of transportation on Avenida Las Heras or Avenida Santa Fe.
