free tour buenos aires

In this new post we are going to design a museum free tour for you. As you may notice in your stay in Buenos Aires, the city is full of cultural activities. Museums are one of the most popular atractions for tourists, this is why we are going to show you the most popular museums of our city.

We are going to start in Recoleta, more exactly in Posadas and Av. Alvear, two blocks apart from the Recoleta Cemetery (last stop in our Free Tour through Recoleta, so you can do it afterwards). In this block you will find Palais de Glace, the National Palace of Art with free admission.

Later, you can continue walking through Av. Libertador for two blocks and on your right you are going to find Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, the National Museum of Fine Arts. There is also free admission in this building.

Afterwards, if you continue walking through Av. Libertador for three more blocks, you will find Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo, another nice museum in Recoleta district. In this building you have to pay a fee of $20 (Argentinian peso) to enter.

Finally, if you take Av. Alcorta and walk for three blocks more, you will find the last museum of this free tour that we are designing. It’s called MALBA: The Latin-American Art Museum in Buenos Aires. The fee to enter is $75 (Argentinian peso), but on Wednesdays is $36.

This is the end of this Museum Free Tour that you can enjoy on your own in Recoleta, Buenos Aires. Remember that you can write a review of this tour in this post and share the information with other people. Below this post we leave you the hours of each museum.
