We told you before that Palermo is the biggest district of Buenos Aires and that’s why we are writing a few posts dedicated to this important neighborhood of the city. In this article we are going to design a new walk through Palermo under the section free tours to do on your own.
This free walk is going to start in Las Heras and Coronel Diaz. You are going to find Plaza Las Heras, a popular park where neighbors go often to rest, walk the dog, play football or drink mate. We are going to cross it and pay attention to the vegetation because after this park and after walking a few blocks we are going to arrive to Jardín Botánico, botanic garden, where we are going to learn about the different species that we can find in Buenos Aires. This garden was built by Carlos Thays, an important French landscape architect who also designed lot of parks of Buenos Aires. This botanic garden is divided in world regions and you will be able to find species coming from different parts of the planet.
Join our Walking Tour in Palermo and discover the best Street Art of the city!
Close to the botanic garden you will find lot of places to have lunch or dinner and also buses and a subway line to return to your accommodation. Have a nice free walk!
