The Museum of Imagination and Play is a recreational space for children from 0 to 12 years old. It’s a specially designed space for three age groups: from 0 to 3 years, from 4 to 7, and from 8 to 12 years old.
What You’ll Find
MIJU is a highly stimulating and innovative space, featuring novel installations that enhance curiosity, imagination, and creativity. The building has several floors, each offering multiple activities for different childhood segments. You’ll also find an Outdoor Playground for open-air play and nature enjoyment, as well as an Immersive Room for a 360° audiovisual experience with animations.
For the 0 to 3-year-old segment, there are hideouts, pools, droplets, a balance circuit, a light island, a mirror island, sound flowers, fitting pyramid, fitting cactus, stackable rings, and more.
For the 4 to 7-year-old segment, there are activities like an inflatable tower, net, slide prism, sound tubes, ball circuits, fitting wall, magnetic wall, rotating labyrinth wall, among others.
Among the game stations for the 8 to 12-year-old segment, you’ll find physics games, a kaleidoscope, an electronic music device for programming and reproducing musical effects, digital graffiti, and much more.
It’s important to note that prior booking is required to enter MIJU through this website. This is done to ensure the best experience for the children. The duration of the session is 1 hour, and it’s mandatory for 1 adult to accompany the child throughout the experience.
Location
MIJU is located in Puerto Madero, a few blocks from the Casa Rosada and in front of the Reserva Costanera Sur. While there aren’t many buses entering Puerto Madero, you can arrive using various means of transportation from different areas of the city that will leave you just a few blocks away.
