Free Tour. Based on Tips

On the Free Tour through the City Center of Buenos Aires, you will learn about the political and historical perspective of our city. We will begin the tour at the National Congress and then walk along the renowned boulevard of Avenida de Mayo with its magnificent buildings. On this tour, we will talk about the glorious and terrible periods in the history of Argentina, from the Independence through the great Argentinian prosperity of the 1900s to Peronism, the last military dictatorship, and the return of democracy.  After seeing the Evita Peron’s mural at the crossing of Avenida 9 de Julio, we will make a stop to learn about our local culture at the most famous café of Buenos Aires: Café Tortoni.  We will finish the Free Tour in the heart of Buenos Aires, the Plaza de Mayo, the center of the city since the colonial period; a place of expression for the people during the most important events of our history.
