We will begin the tour at the National Congress and then walk along the renowned boulevard of Avenida de Mayo with its magnificent buildings. On this tour, we will talk about the glorious and terrible periods in the history of Argentina, from the Independence through the great Argentinian prosperity of the 1900s to Peronism, the last military dictatorship, and the return of democracy. After seeing the Evita Peron’s mural at the crossing of Avenida 9 de Julio, we will make a stop to learn about our local culture at the most famous café of Buenos Aires: Café Tortoni.
