Comics make people laugh and build culture. Cartoons also reflect the personality of the population. This is why we are going to share with you a free tour to discover the most popular cartoons in Argentina.

We are going to start the tour in San Telmo in Defensa and Chile. In this corner we will find Mafalda, a lovely girl from the middle class of the ’60s and ‘70s, always concerned about humanity and revealed against adults.

Turning left in Balcarce Street we are going to walk straight a few blocks, and we will see a couple of cartoons: Isidoro Cañones, Larguirucho, Matías and Clemente amongst others. Turning right in Belgrano Avenue we will see Patoruzú, a tehuelche cacique.

Walking straight through Belgrano Avenue we are going to cross Puerto Madero, find another characters and we will finish the free tour in the Museum of Humor. In this museum you are going to find popular drawings, illustration and comics.

As the walk finishes in Puerto Madero, you can enjoy a natural walk through the Natural Reserve. Check our post about it and learn also about the vegetation of Buenos Aires.
